A little Christmas...

I know, I know...I'm a bad blogger! It's been, oh, about 10 months since I last posted. Shame on me. I didn't think anyone was watching! The gals at the Mile High Angel Gathering reminded me that maybe, once in a while, someone stops by. So it's time to update! How about a little Christmas? My pal Julie Griffith organized a great weekend of fellowship and stamping at her house for the 3rd annual MHAG. Julie had a great turnout and lots of awesome projects. I only got to got Friday night because my dd had a softball tournament the same weekend. But I'm so glad I got to see everyone and get a peek at all the projects. My contribution was a sweet simple holiday card that would be simple to mass produce for friends and family.

I used the reindeer from Christmas Fun, colored him with my Bic markers and added highlights with a white galaxy marker. I used PopRockz paper and tan cardsstock.

I had so much fun playing with the reindeer, I decided to jazz up a holiday planner we made at last years MHAG. I found some cool printables at organizedchristmas and added them to TAC's retired Vintage Holiday paper and slipped them in the pockets.

If you decide to make either of these projects, please let me know...I'd love to see them! Have fun!

Happy Valentines Day!

Hi all! A friend of mine had a few gals over last weekend to stamp Valentines. We had a great time and even got some cards done.

This first one I totally cased from fellow angel Heather Scott's blog. I stamped TAC's GWP Faded Heart three times. Then I stamped some words from the Soft Spoken set onto a tag from the fabulous new Amberley Grace SWIC.

I stamped another tag with a couple stamps from TACs Life Thoughts. Attached it to the bottle and filled it with "hugs". Viola! A sweet, simple gift.

For my girls, I used Sweet Skunks and a retired puppy stamp along with the Catelynne FWIC. I love that paper! I stamped the images with Burnt Umber Palette and colored the skunks in with chalks, and the puppy with a blender pen and Palette inks. I used some tags from Catelynne to accent.

Finally, I found cute little pink take out boxes and filled them with candy and added a giant paperclip bookmark. They loved them!
I hope you all had a great day! Happy stamping!
Steph

Fun stuff!

Howdy! I decided it's time for a little fun on my blog! I'd love to hear your comments about the blog, the projects, etc. Let me know what you think! Leave me a comment by Feb 9 (my birthday) and I'll randomly draw a winner and send you a "birthday present". Cool huh! I get older and you could get the goodies!

Onward.... after the many blessings of the holidays, it's time for thank you cards. I whipped these little guys up in no time the other day. I got a new cuttlebug emboss die for Christmas that I used on the brown and pink cardstock, I roughed it up a bit with my sanding block to let the white show through, then just stamped the greeting. Super simple and super cute!

Happy December!

Wow! December came in with a bang. My dear hubby turned 40 and we had a little party for him. We had a houseful as lots of his family flew in from Kansas and friends joined us too. It was a fun weekend until our whole family got sick. Yuck! Now we're all better and out of school until the new year! Woohoo!

My other excitement is that I got to be a Stamp of the Month designer for TAC this month! Here are a few of my samples

and some others can be seen on the TAC™ Stamp of the Month website. This set is a wonderful bargain...only $1.95 when you purchase $30 in merchandise! Check out the other specials for December while you're there.
Don't forget about all the wonderful sets that will be retiring at the end of the month. If there are any you need, let me know by noon on Dec. 31.

October/ November?

Where did the time go? All of a sudden it's mid-November and we're planning Thanksgiving dinner! Yikes! I'm also in the midst of planning a birthday party for dear hubby...he's turning 40! It should be lots of fun.

October came and went, but I did co-host the 2nd Annual Mile High Angel Gathering. We stayed up too late, ate too much, stamped a lot and had a great time with friends! This is the only picture I have with me in it...it's at our banquet dinner, just before we gave away a boatload of prizes.

Before November leaves, I wanted to offer a Harvest Half Price Special! Simply order $50 or more from me and receive a half price item AND a FREE Level A hostess set! All orders must be received by 7 PM on Nov 30th to qualify. Choose anything in the catalog for HALF price! This is a fabulous deal, I hope you take advantage of it and get the things on your wish list (especially since TAC just released the retiring list of 150 stamp sets that will be gone at the end of December!) As part of your $50 purchase, you might consider the Merry Stamping Special. It's the only way to get this fab stamp set:

Merry Stamping Special • NOV10 $29.95Kit Includes:

Merry Wishes™ Soar With It Collection

Merry Words Limited Edition Stamp Set (shown here)

Mine's on the way, and I can hardly wait to play and make my Christmas pages with it!

A fun "TAC"niquie to try...

I made the golden background using a "faux linen" technique. Use a sanding block to rough up glossy cardstock going side to side and up and down. Then wipe your ink pad accross the paper, side to side and up and down until you get the deisired coverage. You can also use metallic inks to get a brushed metal look...way cool!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The NEW catalogue has arrived!

I just got back from TAC's seminar in Kansas City where they unveiled the new 2007 Fall/ Winter Idea Book and Catalogue. It is fabulous! We have some wonderful new stamp sets (over 200 for under $12!) and 9 great new paper packs plus lots of terrific accessories. And the samples...they are the best yet! Here's a sneak peak at the catalogue...

We did 12 cool make and takes, saw eight quick and easy workshop ideas, got tons of ideas from swaps, and saw several wonderful demonstrations of some of our new products. What a fun weekend. I'm having my 7th annual TAC Catalogue Kickoff Party on Sat. July 14. Email me for more information. More pictures to come...

Fun, fun, fun

What a fun weekend! Last weekend was the big Denver stamp convention and boy, did we have a great time! We met a lot of new stampers, saw some faces we hadn't seen in a while and did a lot of great projects. This is my friend Julie (aka paperjewels) and I at the booth doing a demo. The cute little project below is a mini scrapbook class I offered. I still have a few kits available. You get all the supplies you need to create your own mini book and you even get the Paisley Rockz stamp set in the kit. Email me for more info. I'm also teaching an encore class on Sat. May 19. Come over, stamp, and get a great project done!

Welcome!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Some fellow angels and I have been preparing for the Rocky Mtn Rubber Hi stamp convention coming up May 5, so this blog has sort of been on the back burner for a bit. I've been stamping though...I played with Deco Designs...what fun. I made this little purse and some little card elements to go inside. I love the green and brown lately... really anything with brown. I'm off to do more stamping and planning for the Rubber Hi. For more info check out our Mile High Angels group blog. And come back soon for more projects!
